Dreams to Reality

This is part one of a story and maybe a small guide to completing the Journey to the Best.

For all of our anime-loving fans…we hope that first line amused you…as for everyone else keep reading!

First and foremost we would like to thank you for joining us in our corner of the world (web). We know you could be doing anything else but you chose to be here, and for that, we are truly grateful.

To kick off our blog we want to start with an introduction to the company and its goals.

FRESH EPIDEMIC™ is a black-owned publisher with a passion for storytelling and immersive experiences. - That is the line you would probably read in a monthly issue of GAMEINFORMER or maybe an Instagram post for IGN. In truth, that is the aspiration of the 4 souls banding together to forge this amazing company. We are scattered across the nation as Art Teachers, Video editors, Insurance agents, and Music Producers who wish to break away from our alternative lives and like all of you- turn our “Dreams to Reality.”

So out of our founder’s college apartment, the dream of a tiny start-up for graphic design and web development became the first reality. Immediately after that, a Broke CEO was the second reality. Nowhere near the goals of creating feature films and AAA video games, but it was a living company in the United States and it was blacked owned. Progress.

After the long and challenging experience of being a business owner during college, our founder managed to keep dreaming. As a lot of you can relate, life is tough and nothing comes easy. You have to prepare, study, fail, and at the end of every obstacle - accept the reality that you will not succeed if you don’t get back up.

[You have heard this time and time again. IF NOT, let those words sink in]

In the midst of- well…Life, the team realized they had a greater purpose than to create games and movies or books and albums. Together we united and promised that we would help teach everyone who takes on this challenge, and we mean THIS challenge, we are not doctors or lawyers, super athletes, or soldiers. We are creatives and creating the next Disney, Warner Brothers, PlayStation, or Apple is no joke. (If any artists are reading this, you know what it’s like to be an Introvert.)

So as we create these beautiful worlds for your pure enjoyment and garner your support we start this “journey to the best” with our mission statement:  “To provide resources for enhancing the creative, entrepreneurial, and social-emotional experiences of the future leaders of America and its “minority” communities.”
